Ten Reasons RVs Are Better Than Hotels
When you explore the US, you want to have the best experience possible. That’s why we think you should choose a RV park rather than a hotel.
There are plenty of reasons why RVing offers a much better experience, starting with comfort, expenses and the overall experience you will have.
We compiled the most common 10 reasons why RVs are much better when you want to go in a vacation.
1) Campsites are cheaper
One of the reason RVs are a popular choice for vacation is the cost. RVing is much cheaper than staying at a hotel.
You can’t put a price on having a good time, but in this case, paying much more to stay at a hotel doesn’t make sense considering all the other advantages that come with RVs. At the price of 2 nights in a hotel, you can usually stay at a RV park for 1 week!

2) Your RV, Your Mess
The only situation where you have to share your RV with someone is if you are renting it or living with someone else. With a hotel, messes the cleaners do not clean are always going to be there.
On the other side, shared spaces on campgrounds are not as crowded because of the vast space outdoors. It’s a different experience that is perfect if you are looking to enjoy nature and the outdoors.
3) Less Noise
We all have tried, at least once, to sleep in a noisy hotel. Even with quiet hours, the guests chatting away or slamming of doors echoes through the long hallways.
Campers, on the other hand, are usually quieter and have their own space. Most people at a RV park are there to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the cities so they can enjoy the outdoors.
4) Sleep In Your Bed
We all know that few things compare to lying down on your bed and have a good comfy sleep. That’s why we all have the feeling of missing home when we are travelling.
But with RVs, you take your bed with you. That means you can be in a completely different environment during the day, but home during the night.
What could be better?
5) Choose Where You Want To Stay
RV sites are much easier to find than hotel rooms. You don’t have to worry that much about where you stop and if you find something available.
That means you can take roads more freely and explore places that you would otherwise avoid because of the difficulty of finding available hotel rooms.
Even if you are stuck or lost, there are plenty of spots where you can park overnight.
6) Close To Nature
Hotels are often situated in high traffic areas that are very populated. But RV sites are usually placed into the wilderness, surrounded by lakes and forests.
RVing is the best way to scratch that itch of exploring nature, and because RV parks are situated in the center of many historical sites, cities, and more. In this way you could see landscapes that you couldn’t even imagine to find near a hotel.
7) Wake Up Surrounded By Nature
What feels better than waking up to the sound of nature and the fresh smell of grass. Coffee tastes better in the morning when you savor it with birds and trees, and reading the news in the morning overlooking nature is a different relaxing experience.
RVing means that you can walk out and enjoy the fresh air any time of the day. Finding a place to park your RV is easy, and nature is always a few steps away.
8) Campfire Cooking
One of the best things about RVing is enjoying delicious meals that are done at the campfire. Something cooked at a campfire has a different taste and appeal that compares to even the most exquisite meals at hotels.
Meals around the campfire are an experience that is memorable and enjoyable for you, friends, and anyone else there.
9) A Calm, Nature Filled Experience
Hotels are busy places where a lot of people go, and that means those destinations are crowded and often visited by a lot of people.
RV sites offer the possibility to experience flora, sights, sounds and views that few people experience. These places are more intimate and in nature.
Even if RVing is less expensive than hotels, the experience you have feels much richer and unique.
10) All The Necessities
If you are booking a hotel, you need to book an expensive suite to get everything that your home offers. Laundry machines or kitchen appliances cost more and are not openly available.
Most RVs come with everything you have at home: washer and driers to do laundry, full-sized kitchens, and anything else you need to make your life comfortable.
You are vacationing, but being able to feel at home while traveling is the best part!
